Cafe Jolie in Alameda

The best breakfast ever!! Their lavender latteIs AMAZING!!!

Was looking for a nice place with outdoor dinning to take my fiancé for Father’s Day. Was very pleased with Cafe Jolie. I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict while my fiancé got a built yourself omelette. Very good food.

The taste of my crab Benedict was great but could have been better if my egg wasn't well done! No yolk😒

Excellent quaint breakfast place in Alameda. Loved the large Paris size mug for my coffee along with my fantastic spinach, bacon mushroom and cheese omelet..toast with delicious blackberry jam and skillet potatoes. That, with a delightful server, Elizabeth, made it a wonderful breakfast. Did not disappoint :)

We went for weekend breakfast and it is quite good. We sat outside and brought my dog. Just right for what we were looking for.

Wonderful ambiance with French inspired decor and outdoor seating. Great brunch cocktails (try the Bellini) and good beignets. Would love to come back and try a full entree. Easy seating within closing hour on a weekend.

We like a lot going out. Yesterday we came to this fine place which friends told us about. We spent a delightful time there with excellent meal and an efficient crew and a professional chief cook. We put this fine restaurant in our list and we shall surely come back soon. We deeply recommend.

Having to do laundry during these quarantine times, picked up breakfast to-go. Delicious Croque Madame with small cup of bechamel, great potatoes, and cup of good coffee. Thank you for being Open and sharing smiles. Really enjoying my first-time meal!

I wanted to stay and eat but I felt the first two ppl I spoke with were plain rude! I was born here ...still here and I have eaten nearly everywhere....I recall around 2012 just waiting for the place to finally open and it took forever....I may be a pinch old fashioned but DO NOT ACT SUPERIOR to the people who wish to sample your wares bc it will eventually hit you hard....

Consistently good food. Kind waitstaff and good atmosphere.

Don't bother with the numerous American dishes on their menu, but the French food is a great alternative to standard brunch fare. Excellent French fries.

Best Breakfast spot in Alameda there food was amazing especially the Beignets. The staff was super friendly I would highly recommend this place.

The staff is great, the food is great. It’s a bit pricy, but honest and well served. I wish there could be more varieties in the menu, it would make me return more often.

Service wasn't very friendly or fast this morning and I ordered my eggs scrambled soft and they were overcooked. We had to ask for a server after waiting more than 10 minutes after we were seated. Food was tasty, nothing special. If I return, hopefully it will be better.

This spot is fantastic and broad, the food was delightful and the rates were very fair. rapidly, effective service and very amiable waiters. I highly recommend this place.

two days ago was the first time we went to this excellent restaurant. But It is definitely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the courteous service, with the first-rate cooking and fine drinks and with the friendly pay. We will definitely go back there again.

Whenever I have family coming to visit me from out of town, I HAVE TO take them here. It is like walking into a cafe in France. The service is great! Menu is non-changing and never a let down. They have select happy hour days/times, check website. Breakfast is the best time to go, careful on the weekends as a wait begins around 10am

I love the frenchiness but 12 clams for beignets?! Not New Orleans beignets but Alameda beignets! For twelve smackeroos! I really came for that and some coffee. But for 12 bones you might as well get a meal. I got the French toast! Pretty tasty and safe. Foods OK just lower the French donuts price by 50%

Great food and staff- a little pricey

I'm a fan of Café Jolie! I highly recommend the Monte Cristo, the regular coffee is great and you can't miss the mimosas. Something else that you will enjoy is the great customer service. You do have to wait sometimes since it's popular and I advice you to park a few blocks away.

This is a cute cafe with nice wait staff. Food was a little slow to come out, but the French toast was the best I'd ever had. Prices are a little high and the bengiets weren't crispy but we enjoyed them anyway.

I loved it, I'd almost give it a 5, if there were a bigger portions (then again I did manage to get full) and less of a crowd. Great service also. It all was delicious, with gluten free bread (for an extra charge). The thing with lox was what I had, and heard their lime shrimp salad was good also. The sweet potato fries were savory and I really want to try their potatoes based on how they looked

This is hands down our favorite stop when visiting family in Alameda! My husband always orders the Monte Cristo, because we both dream of it when we’re away....I tend to explore classics, knowing I can always have a bite of his meal! This trip I tried the Eggs Benedict and the Salmon Lox - I was not disappointed! 😋

I had a superb at this place. We enjoyed the nice ambience and the meals. The staff members were super personal. I’m glad we finally decided to visit here.

Great food, outside seating a plus!

Though our large group came at prime time on a Sunday they were able to fit us. Sat outside, though cold and rainy they made sure the heater worked for us. The food was great and the servers made sure we got the things we needed. The lattes hit the spot, and my son still talks about the chocolate chip pancakes.

Delicious!! One of the best mocha lattes I’ve ever had! Great service, wonderful atmosphere. Great outdoor patio, my dog had plenty of space to enjoy the scenery while I ate comfortably. They even provided a water bowl for them. 10/10 would definitely come again and recommend!!

Meal was delicious but service lacked. Single people rate last. I went to the restroom asked for my check to be delivered. Table was cleared by the time I returned and I didn’t get to finish my coffee. I guess you need an extra person at your table to save your place

I love their breakfast menu. Crab sandwich is so delicious with county style potatoes, french toast with maple syrup added with strawberry made your day. So friendly approach and insight interior is classy. A perfect place for breakfast and lunch or brunch

This place has been going downhill over the last few years. My first here was in 2013 and it had friendly service and tasty food. Since then, both the service and food are hit-or-miss. Even the seasoned potatoes have suffered! :D
